The new Shoulder Grip is an industry first. It holds and kneads from the front, making a number of new and improved massage techniques possible.

Back massages are more effective because your body is fully supported from the front and sides, so the rollers can get in deeper.

You get more coverage across the shoulders and upper arm.

Shoulder Grip enables the new chest stretch by holding in your shoulders from the front while rollers press and knead your back along the spinal column.
Next: Stretch
Become more flexible and improve your posture using the Inada 3A's three stretch positions, which can stretch along both the vertical and horizontal lines of your body. Improved posture can result in less strain on your neck and spine.

Chest Stretch: Combines a trapezial massage with the Shoulder Grip to provide a full stretch along the horizontal line of the body.

Forward Stretch: While air cells hold the legs straight, the back of the chair inclines to stretch from the calves to the upper back of the legs.

Full Body Stretch: As air cells squeeze your legs, the chair reclines and you stretch along your spine and the front of your legs.

Next: Swing (Torso & Thighs)

Full pelvic support is an integral part of the 3A's Shiatsu techniques: it supports the lower torso while your back is being massaged.

The Swing mode rocks your pelvis back and forth using air cells, to relieve tension and relax the lower torso and thighs.
Next: Back and Neck
Deep lower back kneading reaches far down your lower back to the point of built-up fatigue.

The massage has a long stroke length of over 28" (72cm), to reach deep into the posterior.

The massage rollers have a wide reach of 7.5" (19cm) from the center of the spine to the outside of the lower back.

To massage the trapezius region, the rollers avoid your shoulder blades and focus only on the surrounding muscular areas.

Upper shoulder kneading applies firm pressure to the top of your shoulders to relieve stiffness.

Flip back the pillow and cover from the chair and let the massage rollers get in to the back of your neck to release tension.
Next: Hands
Slide in your hands and memory foam provides support and cushioning, so you can completely relax. Then, enjoy yourself as the air cells massage your palms and back of hands.

The hand massage unit is adjustable, with sliding and rotating capabilities to align with your reclining position during each massage.

Next: Calves and Feet
The three point lower leg massage stimulates circulation not only on the sides, but also into the back of your calves.

As with your calves, each of your feet is wrapped at the heel, instep, and sole to deliver a three point foot massage.

You can strengthen your foot massage by inserting the Shiatsu pad or separate intensity pad beneath your sole.

Automatic Shiatsu Point Locator
Like all Inada massage chairs, the 3A scans your back and targets the massage your own specific acupressure points, based on your body shape.

Four Seasaw Rollers & Ultra-Slow System
Pressure is distributed among four points, allowing for soft kneading without discomfort. Ultra-slow capability provides a more natural touch.

Swing-Style Air-Driven Rollers
Air pressure behind the rollers is used to deepen the massage, for effective relief of stiff areas of the body. Rollers can come out as far as 2.75" (7cm) to reach deep into the back.

Neck Support Pillow
Provides total support so that you can completely relax your head and neck during the massage.

Magnetic Controller Cradle
Keeps your controller easy to access during your massage.

Buffer Pad
Softens the massage, for those who prefer a more gentle touch.
